Program will fill the gap between recovery and relapse, saving lives in Northern Ohio.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 13, 2013

Robby’s Voice, a non-profit organization dedicated to awareness and education of substance abuse, announced today a partnership with MAP Health Management LLC., of Austin, Texas. MAP is the industry leader in providing recovery support programs to recovering addicts and their families. Additionally, MAP’s data division is changing the field of addiction treatment through their comprehensive and scientific addiction outcome data sets.

Through the partnership, Robby’s Voice will provide two MAP Program scholarships each month (one male, one female) to recovering addicts who meet program requirements. The scholarships will cover the expense associated with the 12 month program. Each scholarship recipient and their family will be assigned a MAP Program Specialist who they will interface with approximately 200 times over the course of a year. The MAP Specialist, each of whom is required to have a minimum of three years of continual sobriety, will provide customized recovery support. Through using state-of-the-art MAP software, MAP Specialists and their clinical managers will detect early relapse behaviors and work closely with the addicts and their families to course correct before use events occur.

“This is a significant opportunity for Robby’s Voice to bring additional resources to the people in our community affected by this epidemic. Relapse rates are well over 50%; these scholarships will save lives and reduce the devastation caused by this disease,” said Robert Brandt, President and founder of Robby’s Voice. “We are blessed to have MAP provide this opportunity,” said Carla Brandt, Vice President and founder of Robby’s Voice. “Words can’t express our appreciation; the generosity of MAP is truly overwhelming.”

Jacob Levenson, CEO of MAP Health Management, states, “It’s with great pride that MAP extends these scholarships. Through education and awareness campaigns, Robby’s Voice has already been able to help countless individuals. Additionally, this partnership will empower Robby’s Voice with critical MAP addiction outcome data that will be very helpful in their current campaigns to raise awareness.”
