Business Development

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAP Health Management, LLC is looking for skilled and sophisticated professionals to effectively sell comprehensive billing services to medical practices. This position provides the opportunity to leverage your intelligence, training, and resources to market and sell our comprehensive services

WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Required)

The successful candidate must possess:

  • a minimum of 2 years of sales/marketing experience
  • a strong competitive desire, prior experience preparing and delivering formal proposals/presentations, the ability to make decisions independently, outstanding written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
  • Proven sales track record and the ability to achieve challenging sales objectives.
  • Proven ability to forecast and achieve quarterly targets
  • Prior experience developing pipeline growth and follow-up
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Experience qualifying and driving demand generation responses to warm and qualified leads
  • Prior experience writing, developing and presenting written proposals and presentations.

  • Ownership of a car, possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to travel to prospective customers throughout the day/week. Ability to do occasional overnight travel once or twice a month for one or two days at a time

  • A sound understanding of the sales process and associated best practices.
  • Proven track record of building successful relationships in the provider community and related sales success
  • Prior experience working with a team that is being built from the ground up
  • Working knowledge and experience in the physician office and/or the hospital market
  • Basic knowledge of insurance claims processing and utilization review procedures
  • Prior work experience establishing goals, execution of daily tasks, providing clear direction, and achieving service level standards.

Screening Tech and Laboratory Supervisor

MAP Health Management is seeking a qualified Screening Tech and Laboratory Supervisor. This company is located in Austin, Texas. Pay, including benefits, will be commensurate with experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Perform qualitative and semi-quantitative drug screen analysis on client urine samples to ensure accurate testing of samples on automated analyzers and other laboratory screening equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
  2. Maintain the automated screening analyzer and other screening laboratory equipment by performing the required maintenance according to SOP and document completion of maintenance.
  3. Participate in the laboratory’s quality assurance program by accurately calibrating instrument/laboratory equipment, analyzing quality control (QC) samples, recording QC results, and responding to QC exceptions with resolution of problems. Document reagent, calibrators, and control preparations. Track lot numbers on all reagents, calibrators, and controls and date placed into service.
  4. Prepare and validate reagents, calibrators and controls as required by the SOP.
  5. Maintain proper reagent inventory by participating in inventory ordering. Receive new inventory and place in appropriate location.

MAP Health Management, LLC is looking for skilled and sophisticated professionals to effectively sell bundled MAP solutions to treatment providers. This is an opportunity to report directly to industry all-star Karen Pilley, VP of MAP Billing while you leverage your intelligence, training, and resources to sell to the industry’s top facilities. Have access to the first-class MAP corporate offices in Austin, Texas with the option to base out of your current location. Being a resident of Florida or California is a huge plus.

The ideal candidate would come from a practice management, chemical dependency or other behavioral health environment.

Charge Entry Specialist

MAP Health Management is seeking a qualified Charge Entry Specialist. This company is located in Austin, Texas. Pay, including benefits, will be commensurate with experience and knowledge.

General Description:    
Responsible for entering charges accurately into the billing system. Codes ICD 9 as needed, for entry into the charge capture system for all billable procedures, visits, tests, consultations, etc.; both inpatient and outpatient.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles charge information and assists in coding when needed.
  • Ensures charge information provided is correct and accurate.
  • Responsible for maintaining a system of billing accuracy through encounter verification (facility census, charge tickets, UR tracking, medical records, etc.)
  • Gathers and verifies all information required to produce a clean claim including special billing procedures that may be defined by a payer or contract.
  • Follows ICD9 codes to insure diagnostic codes are appropriate for each specialty.
  • Assists in charge capture by reviewing provider documentation and patient documentation.
  • Balances charge summary to encounter forms keyed before updating charges.
  • Keeps supervisor apprised of matters regarding charge entry.
  • Follows coverage guidelines for coding.
  • Keeps current with third party/payers specific coding guidelines.
  • Periodically reviews with departmental staff of encounter forms or coding forms to ensure they are current.
  • Maintains a system of billing accuracy.

Qualifications:    

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year billing experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Three years’ experience with charge entry in a medical billing environment preferred.
  • Courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology; Microsoft experience preferred.

Family Program Director

Would you like to be involved in the creation of a group of services which will serve the families of addicts? Are you passionate about recovery? Do you enjoy managing others?

 

MAP Health Management is looking for a Family Program Director to run our MAP Family Support division.  We are a fast growing Austin based company looking to expand our excellent management team.  MAP Family Support consists of groups of participants who are family members of addicts and alcoholics.  Our goal is to help these family members find peace and happiness in their daily lives through peer support and education.  The groups will take place remotely (the participants will interact with the moderator and each other via webcam).  The Family Program Director will manage the service and the team of moderators (moderators will be working remotely in different parts of the country), as well as play a large role in the continued development of this division.

MAP Family Support Director Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years management experience (managing a team of clinicians is a plus)
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience directing a program which includes family groups
  • Must be an adept public speaker
  • Must be flexible
  • Must be able to work evening hours and possibly weekends
  • Must be computer/tech savvy
  • Must be a driven self-starter who can get results
  • Must be willing to relocate to Austin Texas

We are a fast growing company looking to expand our excellent team of family group facilitators. The group participants are family members of addicts and alcoholics. Our goal is to help these family members find peace and happiness in their daily lives through peer support and education. The groups will take place remotely (the participants will interact with the facilitator and each other via webcam).

MAP Family Program Facilitator Requirements:

  • Must have a working knowledge of the 12-steps
  • Must be familiar with working in group settings (experience leading 12-step meetings is applicable)
  • Must be gregarious
  • Must be likeable
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be quick witted
  • Must be flexible
  • Must be able to work evening hours and possibly weekends
  • Must know how to share your experience, strength, and hope
  • Must be a good listener

We are a fast growing company looking to expand our excellent team of MAP Specialists with a nationwide search. Our goal is to help clients achieve lasting, meaningful sobriety. This position is remote – work from home.

Specialist Requirements:

  • Must be in solid personal recovery from alcohol and drugs
  • Must have at least 3 years of continuous sobriety and be working an active program
  • Must know how to share your experience, strength, and hope
  • Must have computer skills (since the position is remote, this is important)
  • Must have high speed internet access
  • Must have a quiet room where you can work undisturbed
  • Must be able to work both individually and in a team setting

More about the Specialist:

  • The job of the Specialist is to anticipate - early relapse detection and prevention
  • Identify and address enabling concerns with loved ones
  • Take appropriate interceding action when necessary
  • Help the clients find balance in their life
  • Guide the client to lasting, meaningful sobriety
  • SOLUTION based recovery support
  • Encourage clients to continue in their respective recovery program. We do it so the family doesn't have to
  • It is imperative that the Specialist is in recovery, sober and working an active program, i.e. continually working and applying the steps to daily life (if applicable), working with a sponsor (if applicable), sponsoring others(if applicable), service work, attend meetings regularly.
  • We believe there are multiple pathways to recovery. We are looking for Specialists knowledgeable in the 12-step approach, Smart Recovery, Celebrate Recovery and other models.

  • Specialists are required to have healthy boundaries with the clients
